Portofino Suede Slip-On Loafer

Built for the part of the year when a proper shoe is too much and a trainer is too little. The Portofino is a slip-on loafer cut from soft suede, sitting on a lightweight rubber sole that keeps the whole thing light enough to wear all day.

The upper is unlined and pared back — no hardware, no tassels, no strap. A single seam runs across the vamp and that's the only detail on it. The opening is elasticated at the sides, so it holds the foot without needing to be broken in.

Underneath, a moulded rubber sole with a low profile and a fine tread pattern. It grips on stone and decking, flexes with the stride, and doesn't carry the weight of a leather sole.

Wear it barefoot with tailored shorts, or with linen trousers when the evening asks for something more considered.

UK sizing. True to size for most — the unlined upper softens and moulds to the foot with wear.
